Blackfeet Nation
This is easily the lifestyle photoshoot that I am the most proud of. Not only do I believe that these images are the most powerful that we have captured in my time at Carhartt, but I believe the story behind them is as well. For this project, I was tasked with finding a story that was strong enough to help bring our new Montana Series to life. Naturally, I started looking for stories in Montana and stumbled upon this story of the Blackfeet Nation and their mission to bring buffalo back to their land. Elliot Ross and I agreed that this story was so special, we didn’t want to shoot it the same as previous seasons. We pushed for the images to be shot on film in an effort to better convey the spirit and emotion of these families and their story. I believe that decision led to our best work yet.
